About me...

My name's Nick and I'm a UK based landscape photographer living and working in the North East of England.

My passion for photography began with a simple desire to spend more time outdoors, exploring the hills, coasts, and quiet corners of the UK. Over time, it grew into a desire for capturing the emotion of a landscape — not just how it looks, but how it feels to stand there in that precise moment. Drawn to natural light, dramatic weather, and the quiet solitude that comes with being outside and at one with nature, the landscapes I photograph are often remote, sometimes wild and unforgiving, but always meaningful to me.

Photography is how I try to make sense of those spaces — a way to slow down and appreciate the beauty within the fleeting and the ordinary.

Being based in the North East, I’m lucky to have places like the Northumberland coastline, the Pennines, and the Yorkshire Dales right on my doorstep. I also travel extensively across the UK in search of unique light, weather, and atmosphere — anything that creates a sense of mood or narrative in a scene.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me walking in the hills, planning my next location trip, chasing the perfect stormy sky or eating pies!
